Although you wouldn’t know it from my lack of posts. I’ve even had a lot of different things to write about lately that I just haven’t gotten to. Here is a quick summary that some day I will write posts about.
- I changed what classes I am taking and I am much, much happier with this. I am now taking Geology and Geography. My Geology class is like sitting in a live version of a Discovery show, its awesome. My professor cracks me up. Viscosity is cool.
- Thanks to a great friend I have discovered and investigated this whole world previously unknown to me of Geographic Information Technology. A perfect fit for my skills and interests.
- The above have prompted me to meet with the Geography graduate advisor, and he and I have officially made a plan for me to pursue a Master of Science degree in Geography. If all goes accordingly I will be admitted to the program for Spring semester and I will become a full time grad student.
- I went to my 10 year high school reunion. It was… lame. I have some pictures, they are still on my camera. Some day I will pull them off and post them. I did get to see one friend from out of town that I was pleased to see, and hang out with a friend I still see regularly so that made it worth. We did get a little bit of gossip material out of it as well, so I guess I can’t completely write it off as a loss.
- Next month Isaac turns 3! Brian and I took him to the Natural History museum and had a blast. It was so neat. Eric is now 2.5 months old and starting to smile. He is an adorable, chubby lil guy.
- I want to start a new feature on my site where I just have a list of all the books I read, and then just do a review when something really stands out to me. I think a record of what I have read would be neat, but I just can’t get reviews out on it all.
- We are going out of town this weekend and next. This weekend we are flying to Dallas and meeting MadMup there to watch the Redskins beat the Cowboys. Next weekend, we are driving up to Colorado to attend Shasta’s wedding and hang out with my good friend Tim from high school. This will be extra fun because Katie is coming with us.
- Life is good!
Geology, eh?
Rock out!
Hehehehehehehehehehehe.
Hi Lisa,
I see you are refraining from negative comments about your crazy local friend – just wanted to let you know I am reading and am pleased to have made the “extra fun” category. Maybe we should get a book on cd for our road trip, eh? We can always stop at the Cracker Barrel on the way out of town to rent one.
Hope Dallas is fun!
