What the hell does a bunch of Boy Scouts playing bow and arrows have to do with anarchy?

...what? ....oh!!!

I really need to slow down when I read :)

One day in Junior High PE we were all led out to the field across from our gym. Lined up against the back side of the field were several large targets. The whole thing was very Roman, but even in Junior High we were all questioning the wisdom of handing each of us projectiles. You could tell our coach was quite concerned as well. LOL

I loved the bow I had when I was younger. There was something pure about the whole thing. No real mechanics to speak of - all of the engineers in the crowd can shush, you know what I'm talking about here. The simple feel of quivering an arrow, pulling the bow till the tension felt just right and then :::hush::: ...and release.

Since then, the only other time I feel that sort of relaxation as a result of total focus on the moment is when smoking one of my favorite fine cigars.

That's awesome! I always thought archery was really neat and would do it every year at camp, but I never thought about, you know, actually getting into it.

Cool.
