  1. How do we do it?

    No lives.

    *cries*

It’s hard to keep at it daily or even weekly. Sometimes you’re really on fire and post a ton, sometimes you go for a couple of weeks between posts. =)

Yep, what he said. Sometiems there are things to say, other times there aren’t.

You could always do school memories… ;)

  4. Pez says:

I do my very best to post daily. Except on my weekends – Sun & Mon.

There are times that I have absolutely nothing to say. Other times you simply don’t want to say anything. Take a look at todays post on my blog.

I got a chuckle out of it because two seconds after I wrote it I came over here to see what’s going on and saw this post.

I guess I feel a certain sense of responsibility to the people that read my blog. Whether it be 2 people or 200. I considered what I had to say to be important enough to post and worthy of telling others they should read it, so in a sense I feel like I need to do my best to post at least once daily. Give the readers something to chew on.

Some days it’s steak. Some days it’s jerky.

Now granted, I have a bit of a different goal in mind with my blog and a different purpose as well. Right now it’s my only means of creation. It’s my only means of getting myself out there since I walked away from being in a band. So I’m also somewhat compelled.

It’s going to be your own balance. The upside is the more you’re willing to expose of yourself and your feelings and your beliefs the more you’re going to have to write about. The downside is of course, now you are more and more exposed to your readers – and technically the world.

I suppose it comes down to a decision as to what you are wanting to communicate to your readers via your blog. Even if it’s something as simply as nothing in general – like mine :)

btw, you seriously need to find which post is freaking out your forms so that you can get rid of that big white nothing at the top of your post.

I warned you guys about WP :)

  6. Pez says:

Man, I’m just lighting this thing up like a Christmas tree! LOL! I just took a look. I’m willing to bet if you shrunk that pic of you and Brian down below the width of your left column you’d be money again.

But what do I know about graphics ;)

  7. Brian says:

What browser are you using Pez? It looks fine in Firefox, no weird whitespaces or anything.

  8. Pez says:

Dude, you and firefox. That’s like saying the word “surrender” sounds kinda sexy when you say it in French. LOL!

If you want mass appeal, you’ve got to design for the masses. No way around it.

  9. Lisa says:

Dear Pez – I apologize for the gross atrocity I have permitted to go on for some time on my site. I was wrong to listen to any advice about graphics or browsers, or really life in general from any one other than you. I have removed the objectionably sized picture until I can upload the appropriately sized one graciously provided by yourself.

    tehehe

  10. Pez says:

    It’s about time.

    ;)

Pez: “If you want mass appeal, you’ve got to design for the masses. No way around it.”

Personally, I write my blog for me and nobody else. Therefore, I don’t really care about mass appeal or designing for the masses. :)

Lis, you don’t need to put up his new image. Use the current one, but resize it a bit using the HTML width and height properties. A width of 480 and height of 360 should be safe. That’s a decent compromise. :)
